Sandpoint, Idaho 10/02/2013
OCTOBER 2, 2013 (Wednesday)
Woke up and were shocked – it wasn’t raining. Looked like it wanted to but it wasn’t raining all day.
Lexi had spent the night at her Aunt Stacey’s so it was just Michael and I. We slept in, then we headed for the hot tub and the salt water pool. The pool is huge and we did a few laps then went back into the hot tub. After the second dip in the hot tub, we went to our respective bathrooms and showered and changed. The bathrooms have lockers and you’re given towels as you enter the rec room and hand the desk your card.
We got back to our room and waited for Stacey and Lexi. While we waited, Michael made the most delicious chili. We’re still wanting to use all our food so we don’t have to cart it to the East Coast. We still have so much food and only one more day to eat it.
When Stacey and Lexi got here, we left for Sandpoint, which is about 50 miles from here (about an hour). It was a lovely drive and the town is so cute. Next time we want to walk around and explore the town more. Lots of unique and cute shops everywhere.
Walked through an incredible store. It had so much really cool, neat, and beautiful stuff in so many different medias. I put just a tiny bit of what I saw and photographed. They are at: http://www.northwesthandmade.com/
We drove back and Michael and Lexi are going to do a workout. That was our day, hope yours was great!
