OCTOBER 1, 2013 (Tuesday)
Happy birthday Aiden!
Yet another rain filled day.
We had a lazy morning. We’re trying to use up all the food we had at the Worldmark. I was feeling better so I got up and made scrambled eggs with onions and cheese, along with orange juice and yogurt.
Around 12:30 PM we went to Stacey’s in Rathdrum. Michael has been helping to get her winterized and for her to be able to get her car into her garage. He put her window air conditioners into the shed, broke down some tables and put them away, worked on a doggie door for sweet little Angel, and just did a bunch of things she’s not able to do on her own.
While Michael was dealing with “honey-do’s,” Lexi and I went to Target and got her some pants – finally. She was able to find two pair that she could tolerate and that we could afford. Yahoo. After that we went to the Toyota dealership and got some windshield wipers. We stopped off at Noodle Express in Post Falls and got some late lunch for us. Noodle Express is a tradition now, kinda, since it was where I got food for Buddy’s memorial services.
We left Stacey’s around 6:00 PM. Lexi wanted to spend the night with her aunt. She’s hoping she’ll get some sleep because she’s so close to us on the couch in this studio that our snoring is annoying her. She even tried taking a sleeping type pill last night, but she said we sounded even louder than normal (if that’s possible).
We are now watching TV and waiting on NCIS to come on. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
