Sedona, Arizona

It was just a day trip, but we really love Sedona. It is a tourist trap and we are glad to be trapped. There is something welcoming and comforting about the iron rich red dirt. The surrounding hills are artistic works of sculpture. Nature seems a little bit closer in Sedona.

The road from Flagstaff is a most pleasant drive.
Dramatic canyon walls are hidden with trees that allow hints and glimpses.
A richness of beauty.
The town and surrounding hills are just lovely.
The shops are many.
Every kind of mineral and crystal is for sale here.

Over the years we have taken the helicopter tour, jeep tour, segway tour and a walking tour.
