Los Angeles, California

For all our travels we have neglected the greater Los Angeles area. It has been deep on our list and we finally booked a 2 bedroom Worldmark in Anaheim, near Disneyland, as a base of operations. We invited our friends, Larry and Renee, to join us. They flew in from Oregon the same day we left our house. We met at LAX and it could not have gone much smoother. We got there as they were landing. They exited about 100 feet from where we were parked, waiting for them. We waited less than 10 minutes. With four in the car, the diamond lanes were available to us, but it was still LA traffic.

We checked in and it feels like a former apartment complex that had been converted to timeshare units.
The interior of the courtyard had a mini golf course lay out. Fun for the kids.
Old but okay. Pleasant enough.
The Packing House has about 20 restaurants and many shops. We found delicious foods with great variety there.

So much to see and taste
Fun
Walking from the tar pits to the auto museum we passed LACMA and promised ourselves to return. Trees as art in the front.
Refurbished light posts as art.
