Visalia, California

VISALIA

We drove to Visalia, approximately 175 miles, to visit our friends George and Mary. George and Mary have been friends for many years. George was Michael’s boss years ago and they went through “wars” together and have bonded. Mary is a wonderful woman who has always been there when needed. We were excited to be able to spend some time with them in their lovely home. We got to enjoy their back yard area, which is more a living room than anything. They have also added a lovely swimming pool, which we also got to use.

George and Mary were babysitting one of their grand kids when we were there and what fun he was. We got to see what our grandson would be like in another year or so. Great kid and really enjoyed playing with him.

We went for drives and George and Mary cooked. Very relaxing and lovely time just spent visiting and eating. We really enjoyed ourselves. When it came time to drive home we decided to drive by some family homes that we haven’t seen in years.
