Gilroy Gardens, California

Gilroy Gardens is wonderful place for kids. Nob Hill Foods, at it’s height, ran a private amusement park for employees and their kids. The Bonfonti family sold the grocery chain and kept the amusement park. They tried to make it a commercial success and it did not make it. They ended up gifting it to the city of Gilroy. It has very limited days and hours and is gaining in popularity. It is really a wonderful venue and we buy season passes each year.
