Another weekend at Don and Maureen’s. Maureen is indefatigable. Her dedication and professional commitment is singularly remarkable. I recall when my first wife was so valiantly fighting cancer. People would ask if it was depressing. I told them it was not. In the face of her death, we were never more alive. The blues were really blue, the browns were really brown and when we laughed, we laughed to our bones.
