Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Orlando, Florida – 1/22/2015

JANUARY 22, 2015 (Thursday)

Surprise – today we did a Wyndham owner’s presentation. We thought we were off the hook because they were full when we went to get our “parking pass” the other day. We were actually relieved, then we got a phone call the next day and they said they could get us in. Early for us (8:30 AM), but we had planned on going to Universal Studios afterwards. (Not sure if we’re ever going to get to Universal Studios but we keep trying.)

We left and went down to the reception area and checked in. We were told they didn’t have any room and asked us to go have breakfast upstairs and then wait until around 10:00 AM. We said sure and went upstairs and had their small breakfast – eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuit, and yogurt – along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juices. Was very good.

Pools everywhere.
Pools everywhere. And a few pirate ships and forts.
Went by Ron and Joan's to get pictures of them for yesterday's blog, popped out on their 11th floor balcony.

After breakfast we walked outside to enjoy the spectacular view from the second floor balcony area overlooking the lake and different pools in the area. So pretty here.

We went down and Michael went to the car to get his computer so he could be working on the blog while we waited. Almost as soon as he got back, we got called by a nice young Italian man. We got to talk to him for awhile until the regular guy came (about twenty minutes). Very pleasant talking to him and I loved his accent. Once the regular guy got there, we told him we had bought resale and had a few questions about what we were eligible for. He seemed quite honest and answered questions, told us what it would cost us if we decided to buy, and then we were on our way. Shortest, easiest presentation ever. Very painless. Walked over to the gifting counter, got our $100.00 gift card, and left.

We drove to our other home and took a nap. When we woke up, Michael made a delicious chili dinner. That was our day. Hope yours was great!
