Woke up to cold and the news was full of cold warnings. Mike here, Edie is doing much much better. Can’t really say enough good about Sentara Urgent Care. They were great, women all, and it was wonderful. We are healing excellently under their care. I was the only one that dared out today. The steroids give me that profound sense of well being and I was looking for a kid to have a foot race with and, thankfully, never found him.
I first went to a pottery place called, “Williamsburg Pottery.” It looked like a factory outlet for upscale nice things. Though it was odd in the sense that it was so very empty and void of customers. I am sure partly because of the very cold weather and the impending ice/snow storm that was about to dump on us.
I bought a jar of gold medal winning mustard that is from Beaverton, Oregon. I had it on a boca burger tonight and it was delicious. After I left this place I went to a Food Lion. As luck would have it there was a Rite Aid and Subway right next door. I went to the Rite Aid and bought a hydro-cortisone cream for Edie. The one we have been carrying expired in Feb of 2008. I thought it time to freshen that one up. Then I went to the Food Lion and got some groceries, then to the Subway for lunch.
On the way back I noticed the geese were settling down, and the water on the ponds was almost frozen over.
Parked, unloaded the groceries and before long the snow arrived and stayed.
That was our day, hope yours was great.
