It was really hard for Lexi to say goodbye to her best friend, Jennifer, Jennifer’s family, and her dog, Beans. Lots of tears and laughter. Was nice to see the turnout to say goodbye to her.

Lex and Jenn, double trouble, road-dogs till the wheels fall off. We have adult-napped our daughter. Michael started out the drive to Lodi, California to visit Don and Maureen. Michael had called Maureen and she said they would be home and would like to see us. We got there and had a very short, but nice, visit with them. We were also able to drop off the ginger beer we had bought for them in Canada. She gave us some wonderful Greek cookies she had bought from the Greek Festival in Stockton.

After we left Don and Maureen’s, we weren’t sure were or when we would spend the night but Lexi wanted to drive. She drove all the way, only stopping for gas, dinner, and to get some discount coupons for hotels. We finally stopped around 7 PM at the same hotel (Rodeway) we had used before. Had to pay more this time because there were three people, two beds, and a dog. I think we paid around $65 for the night.
